Build a bathroom in a converted garage

Pat whitmus on Nov 29, 2015If the garage is attached to the house the plumbing runs can go thru the wall. If garage is separate then you have to have the cement cut so a line can come in thru the floor. You can hire someone to cut the cement and they move very quickly. But you can install the sink!Helpful Reply

C on Nov 29, 2015Not sure what you are asking. Is it possible? Sure. Mark off about 6-7 feet at the back end of room. Build a wall across the room and add a door to one far side. That leaves a good size bathroom that will fit a tub or shower stall, toilet and sink. Garages are usually close to kitchens so running a line for plumbing isn't usually a problem if the garage is attached to the house, but it does usually require a permit these days. It doesn't need a window but it's always nice to add one if you can to make the space feel bigger and add natural light.Helpful Reply
