Natural Christmas decorations

I always decorate for Christmas in the traditional read and green. This year I would like to decorate using my everyday decor accessorized with natural trimmings, ribbon and a metal of some kind. I am open to using other Christmas decor as long as it has a natural (not rustic) touch. I decorate floor to ceiling bookshelves in my family room as well as side tables and coffee table, a white/cream wood mantel in my living room, my dark wood dining table and sideboard, my kitchen with maple cabinets and maple table. Medium hardwoods throughout.
Does anyone have some good ideas?

Poinsettia in pots - use red if you want the red/green traditional look. Rows of these in terracotta pots. They also come in a creamy yellow and pink for a change.White candles, pine cones, seed pods. Holly if you can get it. Branches in pots tied up with ribbons instead of the traditional Christmas tree. Burlap just about anything - wreaths, backing to hang cards on, table runners, formed into flowers, trim pots etc. Colourful fabric scraps to make a wreath. Not sure if this is the sort of thing you are thinking of?

I take curled ribbon and place in my decorative bowls and along side of my candle holders. Also place tea light candles (with batteries) with ribbon attached in some way. Also Christmas photos of passed years displayed along with regular décor.

On my mantel, I put small boxes of various heights, spaced about 2 inches apart, covered all with a piece of white lace,I used old curtains from a thrift shop, in between, I put clear glass candlesticks, white candles, and spread my old family silver pieces around and in between, leaning on the wall behind -- (candy dishes, teapots, serving dishes and small platters --- anything silver, oh yes, I forgot -- white Xmas lites under the lace. It looked great. Good luck! I hope this is not too confusing!

I have taken found large oak leaves and spray painted them metal colors - I used silver and gold and bronze - and used them as decoration on my tree. You could also make a wreath using painted magnolia leaves, too. Of course, pine cones can be frosted (or left as is, but I find a bowl of just dark pine cones creates a sort of black hole) and used in bowls and/or other tablescapes; Christmas themed pictures/prints can be hung on front of bookcases. Small garland hung from chandeliers, etc. Good luck.
