Liliana Wells on Dec 01, 2015Go to http://www.homeadvisor.com/, put your zip code and type of service you need and should get responses from several subcontractors in your area. Home Depot also has a referral service. Also, ask your neighbors and at your church. Good luck.Helpful Reply

Johnchip on Dec 02, 2015You are big jobs, so you need to get a couple professional estimates and references or you will be very disappointed at what you get 'off the streets'. These projects put the value of your home is at stake, not just a quick fix job.Helpful Reply

Hope Williams on Dec 02, 2015Hi Linda. Another source might be friends, neighbors, church members, etc. your big box stores are going to recommend the folks they use, not necessarily who's best at the work. Like Lilluan said, home advisor is another. PS- born in Rockhill! Small world it really is! Blessings! 🙏🏻Helpful Reply

Mary M on Dec 02, 2015Hi Linda, you might try Angie's List. We have tried her list several times with good results. You give your location and the type of work you need around your home and it gives you a list of companies in your area. I hopes this helps you out and best of luck to you in some small way.Helpful Reply

Lisa House on Dec 02, 2015I have not had any success with Home Advisor. Can try Angie's List...I hear this is free now. Check phone book too. I actually found my handyman by calling his phone number, I got it off his truck while sitting at a red light in town!Helpful Reply
