Easy
I crafted a couple of adorable Christmas Star decorations using pine cones. I’ll show you just how easy this pine cone craft comes together by a simple hot glue gun.
I used longleaf pine cones. They make beautiful crafts due to how odd and long they are. The average length of these, are 7 inches, but can grow much longer.
Put five of equal size together. Then add your hot glue to a couple of stems at a time, arranging them in a star pattern.
You can attach a poinsettia as I have, or add a small painted pine cone in its place.
They make a big statement for something so insignificant. You can see more pine cone crafts on my blog; ViralUpcycle.com

Tillie Liukkonen on Dec 10, 2015We just got back yesterday from Williamsburg, VA and the Grande Illumination! Wish I had spent more time looking down on the ground for these long pine cones! Love the simplicity of these. PS- Love the "new" Williamsburg Pottery Factory!

Heather Christian Iglesias on Dec 10, 2015Hi Elinore, Isn't Williamsburg the best!?! Grand Illumination is fun, especially when people break out into carrolling. However, the End of the world protests always throws me off a bit! ;-). The new pottery is nice too, but no more steal deals unfortunately. Enjoy the Christmas season!
