I have been wanting some deer antlers for a while but I’m not much of a hunter and my hubby hasn’t had time to get out and go hunting this year yet. The prices of antlers at home decor stores can be pretty ridiculous so that wasn’t an option either.

My mother-in-law sent a package down for my hubby and in it was a deer antler. The antler was pretty stinky and gross so I decided I wanted to paint it.

But first I had to fill a few holes that had ben drilled through it.

Then I painted on three thin layers of glossy white paint.
