KMS Woodworks on Mar 14, 2013a wet saw is the best...depending on the size of your project you can buy or rent a machine. a basic 4" table top model runs about a $100, My big dewalt 10" was about $1000...rentals vary by what you get and may start at 20 to 25 a day.Helpful Reply

My Tile Gal on Mar 15, 2013Hi Michael, The only way is with a wet saw. The nice thing about stone and glass mosaics is that the edges can be polished so they are not sharp. Make sure that the blade on the wet saw is new, an older one or one that has even done only 1 job will tear up the glass tiles.Helpful Reply

Dufner & Son's Contracting on Mar 15, 2013Dufner & Son's /Georgia only a wet saw. And for safety I'll cut thru the tile with cardboard so there no chance of getting glass to fly around.Helpful Reply

Edith H on Mar 15, 2013I have a Taurus diamond band saw that I have only used to cut glass but the instructions say it will cut tile. Current cost of this machine is about $500.00. It is worth it to cut stained glass but I am sure you could rent a tile cutter at a place like Home depot for far less.Helpful Reply
