#HomeforChristmas Holiday Home Tour With #Hometalk and #CountryLiving

and invited us to share our homes for the holidays! I decided to use some vintage pieces and holly from our trees. I linked up too late (I'll be honest...this old gal fell asleep after a long day in the garden.)
I found a vintage birdcage in the fall and filled it with white ironstone and paper rosettes.
I added some green and aqua ornaments for sparkle and paper shreds as filler...after all, it's a birdcage!
Remember the "Vera" prints from the 1970s? Well, I found this tea towel at an estate sale and have been waiting since summer to use it. (My mom had dozens of Vera textiles.)
My putz houses are in a new location this year--on the dining room hutch.
They look good there, I think!
The dining room table gets a dough bowl with real holly and fake candles. (I'm always afraid I'll accidentally burn down the house with real candles.) Thanks and for hosting!
