Cozy and Rustic Holiday Porch #HomeForChristmas

I am crazy excited and honored to be a part of the Hometalk.com and CountryLiving.com Home for Christmas blog tour. Our back porch is decorated to be cozy and rustic, with natural and vintage elements. Grab a cup of hot cocoa and join us!
We’ve had the vintage Pepsi crate forever, and fill it with seasonal forages. For Christmas, it’s nice to walk outside and collect all of the greens from our yard – magnolia leaves, holly leaves, and pine cones. The ornaments had fallen off the garland from the front porch, so I recycled them with this display.
My mother knitted this blanket years ago. We still use it, and when you stop by to visit us, feel free to grab a cup of hot chocolate, and snuggle up in the cozy blanket! The decorations are out, the heater is on, and we are ready for a warm and cozy rustic Christmas on our back porch.
We recently moved Hubby’s parents from their home in upstate New York to a house across town from us. After several trips back and forth helping them to clean out, Hubby shows up with his childhood wagon. Completely rusted, broken, missing pieces, and full of dirt and cobwebs. I knew it would be a perfect addition for the rustic tree on our back porch.
Hubby: “Are you sure you want this wagon?”
We wish all of you a happy, healthy, and wonderful holiday season! Hugs, Holly

Holly Bertone | Pink Fortitude on Dec 09, 2015It's just what I use for online... so someone who isn't familiar with me or my family... they know that Hubby = Carter and since Stepson is under 18, he is called Stepson. I've seen other bloggers refer DH (Dear Husband).

Bre @ Average But Inspired on Dec 11, 2015Ah! Love your wagon, too! :-) Your porch is fabulous. It looks like a great place to read a book and enjoy the holidays!
