Ruffled Burlap Ornaments

If you love burlap, and are looking for a super easy DIY idea, this one is for you! I made these super cute ruffled burlap ornaments and it took only a few minutes!
I purchased ruffled burlap trim at the craft store, even though I wasn't sure exactly what I was going to use it for. You just can't go wrong with burlap and ruffles, and I knew I'd use it somewhere. Shortly after, I had the idea to make ornaments with it.
To make these, you simply wind the burlap loosely into a ball. Once you have your desired size, trim the excess. I secured mine with a very thin piece of burlap, but you could also use twine or string.
The ruffled burlap came already wound up, but it was wound a little too tightly, by rewinding it myself, it gave a looser look to the burlap and better showed the ruffles.
While I may be the only blogger that hasn't gotten a tree up yet, I do have a mini tree that I decorated in the meantime. I love the burlap ornaments mixed with the white ornaments.
