Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Mar 15, 2013There are scrapers that you can rent that will help remove the glue. Also chemicals will soften the stuff so it can be removed. A recent post talked about using a paint remover. While I do not suggest that as those chemicals can be dangerous to use it is one way to do it. Also click on this link http://www.hometalk.com/search?filter=carpet+glue+removal you will have plenty of ideas on how to do this.Helpful Reply

Susanpoole1711 on Sep 07, 2015Check with your Home Improvement Store (paint section) They can recommend stuff to help remove the glue. Also you might find that heat, like hot water or a heater blowing across it, may soften the glue enough for you to get it to the point that you can refinish the patio to your taste. It is not going to be easy. But your Home Improvement store will be able to steer you in the right direction.Helpful Reply
