That was the shape the customer requested. I prefer curves, but you know what they say."the customer is always right"

No, I always take photos as soon as I finish up. And a final rinse is always the last step.

It would have looked more "together" if you had used a rock edging rather than wood. Also, the wood will shrink with age and you'll have gaps.

I tried to sell the customer on a stone retaining wall, but she preferred the wood? As long as the customer is happy... Right?

I couldn't agree more Douglas. So then it becomes a question of what type work you want your company to be associated with, vs how bad you need the cash flow.

Its part of our jobs as "professionals" to help educate our clients. You want to do what?....Here are some good reasons why that is not the best route!...but if you insist give me a call next year so after it fails I can fix it right.
