Does anyone know how to split plastic bathroom tiles?

We had to replumb my bathroom and took out the vanity. To fix the wall we need to split some of the plastic 4x4 tiles. We have tried a number of things without success. Any ideas?

good question...a Dremel tool? ...Drill pilot holes and use a jigsaw?

...My boyfriend does all kinds of tile for a living...but hasnt encountered this. He suggested using a four inch grinder with a ' continuous rim' diamond blade. He said this should work well for what you need. Hoping this helps you !
