Bathroom "pictures", "shelves" from Boxes from Home Goods-Ideas Appreciated!

I wish I had taken before pictures of the boxes I got at Home Goods. I forgot to do that. They were very inexpensive and adorable and I couldn't walk away from them at the store (I tried!) The square one was $3 and the round was $5. I can't remember how much the "magazine" one was. Anyway, I plan to fill the magazine box (these are all cardboard) with more flowers and toilet paper rolls. I put little things in the boxes hung with nails on the wall (the nail through the dots). I would love some ideas of lightweight things to put in. So far, the little candles are on timers, but I think I need more things. A lightweight picture frame? Not sure. I love the way they all "double" in the mirror. Any ideas for things to add anyone? Thanks so much in advance. This board is wonderful!

Vicki K on Mar 12, 2014I would take twist ties and attach something to the backs through the holes. it doesn't have to SIT. Or sticky tape you can remove, and maybe a few good quotes on antiqued paper, arrangement of keys and assorted interesting small objects of dif shapes? Just a thought. I like wiring the lightwt thin black plastic picture frame (dollar store?) with a cool artsy picture idea, too (poke two holes in the picture backing for the twisty to go thru). Go to a junky-type antique mall (vs. a foo-foo one), and look around for small objects that appeal to you.

Mcgypsy9 on Jul 19, 2014You could also take some poster board and cut 2 pieces to fit the big round container and crisscross them to make 4 separate compartments. You could also do this for the square container. I love the magazine holder and you could actually add some magazines to it with the flowers.
