Leprechaun Trap 2013
by

(IC: homeowner)
My middle daughter and I have been placing a leprechaun trap at our house every St. Patricks day eve for the last few years. She really wants to get a leprechaun. Here are pictures of this years trap. I used some hardware wire that I had left over to make a cage and attached it to the 2x10 with staples. I bought a pulley and the string. She and I spent about a hour building the trap. On the table we put a bowl or green ice cream and used a spoon to trigger the trap. The trap was sprung and the ice cream was eaten, but the little bugger go away.

Barb Rosen on Mar 17, 2013They are terribly tricky, those little fellas : ) Plus, the fairies help spring them when they get caught!
