The Peerless hot water faucet in my bathroom will not turn off.

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Dec 28, 2011This is not an uncommon complaint that you have. Many lower cost faucets end up having to be turned just right to get them to shut off. You have two options. Change the faucet assembly parts inside the faucet itself, (cartridge) or simply replace the entire faucet. This will depend on the original faucet value. If it was purchased from a big box store and its under $35. You would be better off putting a new one in. The costs of parts and the reliability of both the faucet and parts are so low that you end up spending more then the faucet is worth. Good quality bath faucets such as yours really begin around $75 and up. Without knowing what faucet it is that you have and there are many. Its impossible to know or tell you what you should do about how to repair this item. Perhaps a photo of the faucet may help some of those here that are in the plumbing industry.Helpful Reply

Sherrie S on Dec 28, 2011I have a moen faucet that leaked after about 5 or 6 years. I went to their site, ordered a part and it was free. They didn't even charge shipping. Shocking but really nice. Hope I spelled moen correctly.Helpful Reply
