Speckled Tea Dyed Easter Eggs

Looking for an easy organic way to make your Easter a little brighter? Why not try dyeing eggs in tea and then speckling them with paint to make them look farm fresh.
Eggs are in this year! So why not create a natural tablesetting with some farm fresh tea-stained eggs.
Here's a simple table setting with eggs and nests and a happy Easter sign printed onto cardstock.
Start by hollowing out the eggs to preserve them for next year. Remove all egg from inside.
Next I dipped a toothbrush into craft paint and lightly tapped it onto the egg.
Two tips: (1) Start with just a few speckles. You can always add more later. (2) Tap most of the paint off your toothbrush before you tap the egg.

Looks great, but you could have easily used brown eggs that they sell in the dairy case. I do love the speckles, though. I bought a bunch of plaster of paris eggs from Hobby Lobby which I intend to paint pink with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, but I couldn't figure out how to make the speckles. Now I know! Thank you for the tip. P.S. I agree with the others that the whole tablescape is lovely!
