Board, Batten and Beauty on a Budget: Cottage Charm Hallway Reveal

I've always dreamed of living in a 1920-30's craftsman style cottage, but our family has been quite content in the location of our current home for the past 14 years. Come see how adding board and batten and gallery shelves has given the hallway in our 80's ranch style home a little more the cottage charm that I love. Check out all the details and the after pictures on my blog by clicking this link: http://www.simplicityinthesouth.com/2013/03/board-and-batten-on-a-budget-hallway-reveal.html

Before: Long ago, we put up a track light, a shelf for pictures, and painted over the dark wood doors and molding with white paint.

Hi, gorgeous job! Do you have details on how you did the bottom half of the walls? The Board & Batten look? Thanks!

It looks wonderful and I scrolled down to check the list of materials and discovered the link you provided does not go to any page. Could you please provide more details? It is gorgeous and just what I wanted for our hall and for my office.

Love the look! What is the paint color on the walls?
