My Sempervivum garden in decorated pots.

Good morning everyone. Yesterday my sempervivum arrived and when I planted them in their pots they looked a little boring. Until they grow I decided to jazz up the arrangement. I took apart some bracelets and necklaces I am no longer using and laid the pieces on the soil. (These don't get watered often so no problem there.) When the plants begin to spread I will take out the beads and things. I then smeared some glittery mineral makeup on the terracotta pot for an aging effect that took one minute. I also placed some placemats I am not using underneath.
The whole arrangement
This is the mineral makeup smeared on. I will add more thismorning

This is a great idea, and definitely beats overcrowding the pot.

Thanks Doug. I received 2 of 4 varieties and I wanted these pots to be the good "mother" plant so I can propagate off of these. I want them to spread and flourish. I always value your input!
