Three Step Reupholstery Project
For this project, I first refinished the chair with an oil-based gel paint (http://29ruehouse.blogspot.com/2013/03/using-oil-based-gel-paint.html), then I added the seat fabric (http://29ruehouse.blogspot.com/2013/03/reupholstering-chair.html) and DIYed the double welting to finish it off (http://29ruehouse.blogspot.com/2013/03/double-welting-done.html)

Gorgeous fabric... I've been intending to try my hand at re-upholstery. Why not? The chairs that I'll be doing have brass nail heads all around the seats. Hmmm, have you ever attempted one like this before?? Your canadian Cousin Elayne

I think I would re-use the nail heads (if possible) because I think it's a cool look. I love the material on this chair as well but I cannot sew!!
