DIY Fabric Wrapped Dresser Makeover

by Cassie May
What to do with a great mid century modern dresser with a damaged top? You could paint it, but instead, I covered it in fabric!
I fell in love with the shape of this great craiglist dresser but while the drawers looked ok, the top and sides were in rough shape.
You really won't believe how this piece of furniture was completely transformed!

Covering the dresser with fabric was easier than you might think. I'll show you step by step how to do it and have it look great!

The final product is so fun and so much prettier to look at than the damaged before!
If you love how this dresser was transformed with some fabric and a little elbow grease, visit my site for the full tutorial!

I luv your creation. Question: If you wanted to put a gloss to add a shiny, sheen, protectant, to this. What do you think you would use?

Wow, what an awesome Idea. I honestly think I will be doing this with my dresser. What type of fabric is that? It has sort of a "plastic" type texture to it. I like it, a lot.
