Add beautiful pops of color to your front porch greenery with these quick and easy to make yarn pops. They're a perfect way to use up those leftover yarn ends and to refresh your front porch planters after Christmas or any time of year.
What You'll Need:
Medium to Heavy Weight Yarn Ends (any colour of your choice)
Styrofoam Balls, 2.5" (6.3cm)
Glue Gun with glue sticks
Thin and straight tree branches or sticks, approx. 18"-24" long

Styrofoam Balls, 2.5" (6.3cm)
Glue Gun with glue sticks

Start wrapping the yarn around the ball by first securing the one end in place with a dab of hot glue.
After wrapping the ball 4 to 5 times in one spot, change the direction.
Continue wrapping 4 to 5 times in that spot before pivoting again.
Work this same pattern until the ball is fully covered. To finish, apply another dab of glue and press the end point securely down.
