This is a QUICK and EASY (and most unusual) way to clean your floor and ceiling vents. Yep, in the dishwasher. I LOVE doing it this way. It's not easy to get rid of all dirt and grime in the nooks and crannies of flooring and ceiling vents. Make sure to check out my blog post for all the do's and dont's for cleaning vents in the dishwasher.
Dust and pure grossiness!!!
Place in the dishwasher for a good cleaning.
This vent was cut with a saw to fit under a cabinet. That is why the jagged edge. But look how clean it is??
The after of the ceiling vent which use to be all dusty.
Replaced the floor vent after it's been washed in the dishwasher.
This is what I use on the floor and ceiling vents in between the dishwasher cleanings ; ) I LOVE it!! If you need a good duster, this is it!

They let tons more air then a dryer filter. We have never had any problems with our heater, and change our wall filter regular. I am not a specialist of any kind so do what you think best as with any comments or demonstrations on this site.
