Window coverings are expensive these days aren't they? Blinds, curtains and other materials can add up fast, so I've taken to making my own curtains, and shades. It's actually very easy if you have some sewing skills, plus you can use any fabric you like! Here's how to make your own {fake} roman shade for a window covering.
You can even add decorative ribbon, tassels or other embellishments to your shade too. For all the step-by-step instructions, see the link to my blog post below. Have fun making your own shades!
