We have had the ugly, basic chandelier in our dining room since we bought our house 7 years ago? Probably you have seen it everywhere (maybe even in your house). I have wanted to replace it BADLY for about two years, and was finally able to! Find out how I transformed it for only $30!

With the lights on, the crystal chandelier frame along with the hanging crystals creates a lace-like effect!

Here is our old, not so much my style, chandelier. Oh how I longed for something fancy.

I would also like to know how you got the shade on. Was this your cousin's lamp that you took or is this your old one with the shade and crystals added? Thanks. Great! Love it!

I also been wanting to do this. Have my chandler up w/a scuffed up globe, would like to trade it for a lamp shade. How did you get the shade on?
