"Driftwood" Finish Dining Chairs

The finish on these dumpster rescued dining chairs almost looks like driftwood. I used a combination of ASCP Coco and Old White, then dark waxed them to achieve this finish. Then added a grain sack image from The Graphics Fairy onto canvas for the seat covers.
You'd never know these dining chairs were a dumpster rescue.
They were painted with a 50/50 mix of Coco and Old White
Then whitewashed with Old White and rubbed off while still wet.
Finally a coat of clear wax was applied, followed by some sanding to distress them and dark waxed.
After applying the dark wax, I wiped it off with some clear wax to soften the look.
