My old high back, with good structure, needed a facelift & some TLC. Being new to Hometalk, I posted this makeover last yr. with very few views. Reposting to show how fabric blocking can be fun & rewarding.

Ripped, worn, but still just as comfy....

Shopped EVERYWHERE ~finally~ found some rich, vibrant velvets discounted, $10.00 yd. @ a small upholstery shop.

Black velvet piping framed it all in.

Reall great job! Luv the colors. My question is did u dis-assemble any parts of the chair, besides the obvious cushion. I have a wing back that I bought to recover, I have the fabric, thread etc...now I just need to figure out the specifics???😳😳😳
