Moms Jewelry Armoire

What a great way to start off the new year than with ” A Fresh Start” ? Well that’s exactly what the ladies at the Fab Flippin Furniture Contest thought when they titled this months contest, and exactly what Mom’s jewelry armoire has gotten, a new lease on life with this fresh start makeover.
I simply adore this color "Key West Blue" from General Finishes new Chalky Style Line it is the perfect 1950's aqua blue I have found to date in furniture paint, it is the perfect hue, with just the right amount of green tint to it.
Normally I tend to repaint pieces that are more vintage than this, but this jewelry chest was inherited from my Mother In Law, and we just had to keep this piece as a sentimental reminder.
I think Mom would approve, she loved blue.
