    I used a similar idea downstairs in the rec room where a throw rug is cleverly hung to hide a dart board when it's not in use

    Throw rugs sure come in handy. I hope you didn't use the darts to put the rug up. That would give it away. Seriously I have heard that motors for the framed pictures can be the low voltage motors in cars that are used for windows. A transformer is needed here. If you don't need something that strong the motor that makes the antena go up and down can work. The reason I mention this is because the one with the painting cost $3,000 to set up. There seems to be good margin there if someone wanted to start a niche business.
