Depends on how bad the slope is for me. If it is very steep I would level them that way no erosion would be a problem when it rains. If the slope is slight then I would just let them run with the slope and put plenty of mulch on top to retard erosion. -

With that much slope I think you will be happier if you level the planters. Run the 8' dimension across the slope then dig out the area at the top of the planter so you will have at least 4 inches of the planter above ground and let the other 8' dimension sit on top of the ground.. -

Leveling them would also provide much better curb appeal to anyone viewing your planters from a distance... -
I vote for leveling the planters. Make sure though you have adequate drainage or you will end up with a dam on the lower end. -
@ Four Seasons where were you when I put my planter in? I learned the hard way but did correct it.
