Recycled Glass Vases
I like to re-use those glass vases, that I have received flowers in, in decorative ways around my house. Here are a few of the things I have done:
I glued birch bark pieces to this vase, making sure to let some of the ends curl for a more natural look.
I gave this one a distressed paint look and then simply added some birch branches to it.
And, this one I painted and used for storage in my craft room.

Great ideas! I love the birch bark. do you have birch trees or where did you find the bark?
