What should I charge? It will be an above and beyond paint job.
This is the table and chair set. These are plaster painted. And then poly for that exaggerated cartoon look? So bed will be a bat cave. How much would you charge. Takes up a lot of space is worse part

Is this a friend or an acquaintance you'll be working for? If it's a friend, please decide mutually on a price before you start. Include the cost of products and then estimate a time frame and then negotiate your fee. Or you could do it in exchange for a project that your friend could help you with. If it is a project for an acquaintance, think about how much you would pay someone to do that work and again, make negotiations. Best wishes!

I once read that you should add up your expenses and double that price, then decide how much your hourly wage should be--$15.00 an hour?--times the hours spent. So, if you spent $50. on paint and x 2= $100. Then your time (let's say 20 hours) X $15. = $300. Total is $300.00 for the job.

What you charge should be based on what your local market will bear and how much time you put into it plus the materials used. Each market area is different.

Connie is right. But I would also look at similar projects sold on Ebay or other. I don't think you will have completely recoup the time you put into it. Good luck.
