DIY Narrow Entry/Console Table

Easy
This is a table my husband built for me. Let me start off by saying that he had NEVER built any furniture before and his completed table is beautiful! I wanted a narrow table that would fit at the bottom of our stairs. Everything was either too deep, too long, too low, or too expensive. I looked for months in stores and online and after finding nothing, he finally said he would build one for me.
This is the completed table. After he finished cutting, screwing and sanding everything, I painted it with Anne Sloan Old White Chalk Paint and stained the top.
If you're looking for something narrow, this is the table for you. The length and depth can all be adjusted.
I also wanted a shelf on the bottom for photos, baskets or other decor.
The materials were all purchased from Home Depot (his favorite store).
There's great photos of the top, sides and bottom on my blog, along with a list of supplies and how you can do this yourself.
He had no special tools other than screwdriver, drill, and saw.
Just click on the link to see further photos and find out how you can build one yourself.
