Annitta on Feb 03, 2012I can not start seeds in my home seed room just yet. There is still over 5 feet of snow on the ground, and planting is June 1st. Last year I jumped the gun and lost quite a lot of seedlings. It was a cold, wet growing season. Farmer Bob, a neighbor, lost 600 head of cabbage to cow moose and their babies. The temp still reached -0 in the wind. Since we plant June 1st for outside food, what is a good time to start inside? Also, can not make it to the greenhouse, heck, can not make it to under the deck for the fuel tank, unable to get delivery due to snow banks. Anyway, any suggestions?
