Luv On The Mantel

I've added some Valentine love to our mantel. It all starts with the vintage window. Actually, it all starts with the board my husband cut. I asked him to cut it to make our mantel deeper (I like to put a lot on the mantel). I painted the board, and I put it on top of the existing mantel when a need more depth for the decor.
For Valentine's decor, I added eyelet to the edge of the board.
That gave me the depth I needed to add a vintage window with vintage Valentine cards and a chalkboard heart banner across the top.
I tied a piece of Valentine ribbon around battery-powered candles to turn them into Valentine candles.
Hearts decorate aluminum Christmas trees on the hearth. (No, I have not left the trees up since Christmas!)
