Driftwood Wall Art!

I framed a piece of driftwood I fished out of the ocean last year. My wife and I were celebrating our eleventh wedding anniversary and whats more romantic than.....driftwood?...Anyway I have a thing for antlers too and this branch kinda-sorta looks like one.
Distressed and ready to hang!
I love it!
On the wall behind the pendant.
I painted it with a black and brown mix, sanded and then waxed and buffed it.
Three wood screws from the back. This held solid, so I didn't need to do anything else.
I leveled the end, kicked all of the bugs out and then flattened the back with my craft saw.
Kablam!
I made a simple frame using some scrap wood and scrap trim.
Enjoyed the project?
