Antique dentist cabinets are easily found at antique shops and flea markets. But what do you do with them? I spotted this one at a local antique shop and thought it was make a unique jewelry box.
I started by ripping the green "carpet" in each drawer.
Then, with a little Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, Mod Podge and old book pages, I turned this one into a stylish jewelry box.
Two layers of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint give the outside a fresh, new look.
Mod Podge gives the drawers an updated and fun lining. I simply used old book pages to line the bottom of the drawers.
