Flip House Bathroom Before and After

Wow! What I thought was a quick cosmetic update turned into a complete gut job! Check out how I transformed a scary in the into a spa retreat.
Here's a look at the before and after.
You won't be able to truly appreciate the after until you see the aweful condition this bathroom was in before.
Before.
Before.
Here is what the room looked like in the middle of the demolition process.
Gutted.
Now take a look at the after! The wall color is Ancient Stone by Valspar. It's the color Nicole Curtis used on a lot of her flips in Seasons 1 and 2 of "Rehab Addict." It's a great warm neutral shade. My towels are from TJ Maxx and the rack is from Hobby Lobby.
Here's the new shower surround I installed. Accessories are from TJ Maxx. The cast-iron tub was still in good condition, so I kept that.
Here's the vanity side.
Vanity closeup. This one is a vanity/sink combo from Lowe's. I paid $199 for it.
I wish I had a before of what this area looked like. It had hideous cabinet doors and the shelves were wonky. I took off the doors, trimmed the openings with molding and painted the dickens out of everything. I love how this spot came together! Wall art from Hobby Lobby.
A closer look at the vanity. I chose a medicine cabinet mirror from Lowe's that matched the vanity. It offers more storage in this tiny bathroom.
I went with inexpensive brushed nickel fixtures. All in all, this bathroom cost me $1,200. Visit the blog post url for more details on the construction process.
