Decided to break up the big gray wall. The metallic paint looks great and changes throughout

the day. Depends on the sun and time of the day. Cheap and very effective.

Looks like you used the Frog Tape, is it as good as they claim, I have always had bleeding under the blue painters tape in the past

Monika, this is stunning! I NEVER critize anyone's design, only would like to suggest if you blew those photos up and place in modern or contemporary frames or better yet have them developed on canvas; rather inexpensive to do, try Costco - I believe this will take that wall to the next level! The black & whites against the silver or you can enhance photos w/the colorizing technique, don't know what it's actually called but they only add color to certain aspects of photo - now we're talking show stopper!

It is actually gray paint. The metallic paint is from Benjamin Moore.

I was thinking the same the other day. It is time to change the pictures anyway. Husband will be in Italy for a week so that's when I will do it.

I like the overall look and the horizontal stripes make the space look wider, but I would have something larger and with color to balance the space.

I can't get it to stick to my ceiling projects. . . . no matter how much I score it. It also left a residue on flat paint.

Nope, I wouldn't do this. My walls are crowded with art work, and stair space is wonderful for gallery type colllections. But I'm sure hubby would love a project to use a laser level toy!

Nice look. I used the Frog tape without any problems. You could create a pretty cool pattern with a mix of smaller frames.

Does the frog tape work as good as advertised?

It does. We do not have smooth walls in Texas. It is vey difficult to have a straight line without bleeding under the tape. Love this tape, wish I invented it:)

To make the edge swell, it's made from the same absorbent material that are in diapers.

I am going to be using 3M Edgelock now because of complaints like Kass's that Frogtape leaves a glue residue, but the idea works great and the price is the same.
