The Garden Frog with C Renee on Feb 04, 2016I am not sure how to help you without pictures to give you a few tips and tricks. My no plaster I am assuming you only have the wooden slats on the wall? You could always hire someone to put up drywall or even a beadboard which is about $20+ a 4'x8' sheet. That may be your best bet. If you cannot do it yourself, then ask family and friends if they know anyone who can help you (and pay in food and drinks). I like carpet on stairs because I like to vacuum and carpet is so much softer and shows less dog hair and dust in my house. There is always a way to have a nice home without spending a lot of money. I know because I have a fixer upper myself. good luckHelpful Reply

9530106 on Feb 04, 2016Yes, are you needing resources for help/labor, or just ideas on what you can do? There are usually community service organizations that will do work for free, especially if your home is needing work done and you are unable to afford the repairs yourself. Let us know, so we can better help you! Blessings.Helpful Reply
