What to place in small mounted pots?
Due to the upcoming high heat here in North Texas placing real plants in the pots are a receipe for diseaster. Since the twelve pots are glazed color we thought about using a single color artifical stiff straight grass or balls of colorful moss in each pot. No articial flowers!
Your additioal ideas please!

Jeanette S on Apr 28, 2013There are several types of grasses that do not get very tall that are beautiful and they come in various colors. Mondo grass is one of them....stays short and is dark green. And I love those chartreuse vines....if they grow too long, you can snip them off...and there are variegated colors in grasses. These sorts of things do not require much watering and grow like crazy in hot weather. Just look in the section of the nursery that has vines and grasses. Hens and Biddies is pretty too!Helpful Reply
