Whitewashed Plank Wall Tutorial

A couple of months ago I set out to refresh our bathroom on a major budget. My goal was to update the space, without replacing the toilet, bathtub, or vanity. I decided I needed to add something that would totally change the look of the small space. I whitewashed plywood planks and installed them on the wall to give the room a rustic feel all for under $50!
Here's our main bathroom before the update.
Plywood is the trick to an inexpensive plank wall - Please visit my blog for all the details on how I made plywood work in this space.
I have a full tutorial on my blog on how to whitewash wood: http://www.refreshliving.us/2016/01/the-best-way-to-whitewash-wood.html

Please head on over to my blog for the complete tutorial and final images of the space. I'd love for you to stop by. Thanks!

I have the same question as the last response. Did you paint the vanity cabinet or replace it, IF you painted it, what is the color and brand. The entire project is fantastic ! Thank you so much for sharing!

I think it looks very nice!! Although, I did notice that you had mentioned, due to budget, you didn't want to change the toilet, bath tub or vanity. However, the vanity top was indeed changed. Was that counted into the budget or was that an "extra" you had to do accommodate for after so that the white top would coincide with the look? Thank you in advance and again, it looks very nice!
