Does anyone charge money for items that HUNDREDS of people want?

Many, many people have asked for instructions for an item that I make. Can I charge $$ for the 5 pages of instructions & pictures????

    If you are sharing with other crafters I don't think so...People usually share because they are proud of what they have created...

    Absolutely..Its done all the time..check Ebay, Etsy, Art Fire, etc, & see who is doing what, & for how much. Maybe a Magazine that includes your subject.. Men do it for building benches & a ton of other things. Or, see if you can find it on Youtube, or just online.. perhaps someone beat you to it. Good Luck~!

    In my opinion I think it depends on who the people are. If they are friends or relatives than I say no. If they are just random favors that people are asking than I say yes.

    Unless you have mass marketing available I would agree with Geraldine. Most people share because they want to not to necessarily make money. I posted a craft to Hometalk and had nearly 50,000 views...I didn't make a dime but I'm proud that my idea was so popular!

    No harm in trying. As Marci suggests, try Ebay, Etsy, etc.... What have you got to lose? Good luck
