Best and most economical house siding

My house needs painting, but I would like to cover the existing wood siding with something that doesn't need painting every few years.

Call a couple of different home improvement companies in your area and ask them for ideas. There should be several options available including brick, vinyl and stone.

I'm a former siding contractor and I used vinyl siding, jus make sure it's 100% color,,I'd you cut the vinyl and you see the color all the way thru then it's 100%,,, if not then it's vinyl covered. Good luck!

This is just a thought , you might check into a state funded Energy saving program where they will come in and replace your windows and siding at a very low cost for home owners it is just a thought , to save on your heating and cooling bills . Hope that this helps !!
