SLS Construction & Building Solutions LLC on Apr 27, 2013My 7 tips: 1. Start with a clean slate 2. Remember & practice FIFO – First In First Out 3. Keep like items together (for example sauces / spices / meal type) 4. Use a Sharpie - mark when items bought or expire 5. Labels Forward 6. Big boxes vs. Small items - Put larger items in the back & smaller items in front. For spices, or packets, it may be best to buy a specialty rack, or a basket to keep them all in 7. Figure out a system that works for you - commonly used items versus holiday only (I got a special shelf for those), etc... If it doesn't work or make sense to you, it won't work over time For more on those or common expiration dates - http://bit.ly/OrgPantryHelpful Reply
