Replacing the mantle on a 1978 brick fireplace
-
MN Mom on Feb 08, 2016Hello Charlotte Yes I replaced my mantel. I had a wood worker create a box in the style that I love and it slides over the existing mantel. He then secured it by screwing it to the original and anchoring it to the wall. We also converted it from wood to gas. Made a world of difference!Helpful Reply
