MN Mom on Feb 10, 2016Have you tried the old fashioned plate hanger that is an adhesive tag with en eye/grommet on it? Hard to explain but they have a very strong adhesive. You could also try 3-M Command strips or a wire and spring traditional style plate holder.Helpful Reply

Sandra on Feb 11, 2016Since you don't have to worry about cracking over time when you use a wire and spring hanger, I would buy one and give it a try. They come in sizes so measure.Helpful Reply

Marilyn McCormick on Feb 11, 2016The eye/grommet hangers worked excellent. I still have plates hanging 20 years later using them. Hovever, I cannot find them anymore. All I find is command hooks, which are great "hooks", but don't have the eye/grommet feature needed for the back of a plate.Helpful Reply

Karen Reinhardt on Feb 12, 2016Buy a diamond drill bit (about $5) and drill a small hole in the plate (husband's drill press is best) Then you can hook the plates onto nails or make wire or fishing line loops to hang plates wherever you want.Helpful Reply

Anne fenske on Feb 13, 2016I've used a bent wire coat hanger and bent the circle to fit a screw; don't put the screw all the way in post to give hanger room. Bend the bottom part up. It may take a few hanger to get the right angle. Bend about 2-3' from bottom straight bar up; test to see if it's a fit. i then sprayed them. A sage or black would be nice on yours.Good luck.Helpful Reply

Cathy on Feb 15, 2016drill with a diamond drill bit with a normal drill at slow speed. squirt with water to keep cool while drilling, removing ceramic dust from hole. NOT a scarey as it seems. Its more scary to use glue once you know how!Helpful Reply
