Janet Pizaro on Feb 11, 2016In my opinion there really is no room for a greenhouse or a way to attach it.If there is a way to use hooks then certainly hang a bird cage.Helpful Reply

MN Mom on Feb 11, 2016You could certainly build a hot house to start seedlings and also put out a decent sized bird cage. I guess these are two completely different projects but you certainly have room for each.Helpful Reply

Moxie on Feb 13, 2016I dont know if you own or rent but assuming you can do what you want you could mount posts with brackets to the balcony *4-6' o.c. around the perimeter, rim board 2x12 with 2x8 joints (back higher than front for slope) add translucent polycarbonite "roof" panels and infill rim board down with wall framing/widows (operable would be great for nice days)...just my thoughts...a stained glass oanel or two could really amaze up the space and even tbe wiod slat tiles over the slab....caution..the balcony is prob precast and you dont want to mess with the cables inside it with your fasteners or it could effect integrity...try to get a hold of the shop drawings from original build to know where the are and how deep if applicable. Good luck and enjoy what ever you do!Helpful Reply
