Grandma's Curio Cabinet

My customer has been holding on to her grandmother's vintage bow front curio cabinet. She loves it and it has sentimental value since it was her grandmother's, but it simply didn't go with anything in her home. She wanted an updated look while still keeping a piece of her family history
My three year old daughter on the other hand had other things in mind. She insisted on getting inside and closing the door. I think she looks a bit like a living doll inside a doll case.

That looks awesome! I have the exact piece, got it from someone who didn't care for it anymore. Mine was badly painted an odd color and the back was tiled with mirror with gold specs mirror tiles, not the greatest look... then one to tiles cracked so has been waiting for a makeover.. this is just a great inspiration. Did you strip the old paint/stain or did you paint over it?
