I got red wax on my off white carpet. The wax came out with a hot iron on a piece of white paper but there is pink stain. Any suggestions how to remove the stain?

Try making a mixture with baking soda and club soda into a paste and rub into the carpet as not to spread the stain . Leave on and put plain paper towel on top with a heavy object to soak the moisture and stain up.

Don't know if this'll work but my granddaughter once painted the carpet steps with pink lipstick. We blotted, of course, and then used bleach mixed with water to successfully remove the remaining pink stain. If you've gotten all the wax off already, bleach water might undo the pink? Hope so. Good luck!

    Oxyclean works great on carpets.

You could try shaving cream. I have removed nail polish and crayon in the past with a spray of shaving cream and warm water, blotting as you go.

Red is extremely difficult to get out without pulling the color of the carpet as well. I have a very plush, almost long shag carpet. I have found that with most stains there is usually just a few of the loops are actually stained. I have trimmed them individually with a scissor to eliminate what color I could and have had excellent success. If all else fails and you have a spare piece of carpet it is easy to patch yourself. just take a box cutter and cut a square or rectangle just big enough to replace. trace and cut this out of your "replacement piece" and use a mesh, head activated mesh tape (Menards, Lowes, etc.). this comes with a backing that you head the glue with your iron and place in the removed spot. press down until in position and then go back and forth with as mush pressure as possible with your rolling pin. you may have to trim the carpets where they meet and you shouldn't be able to see the seams. Hope this helps.
