Avis Ling on Feb 14, 2016I don't know if wine bottles are glued on differently but regular labels I take off by heating them up with the hot setting on my hair dryer and gently pulling them off.Helpful Reply

Melissa Lyman on Feb 14, 2016I re-use wine bottles for my own vintage. I have good luck with some (repeat - some) labels by adding 1 teaspoon of OxiClean powder to a sink full of hot water. Soak the bottles in water as hot as you can get it. Some of the labels will simply float to the top of the water after 30 minutes, other can be easily peeled off. That said, there will be a few labels that defy the OxiClean.....my joke is the higher the cost of the original wine, the better the glue on the label - good luck!Helpful Reply
